After two socks, three toes, four stitch patterns, and five bind-offs, I have one complete sockpal-two-za sock.
I did the sock toe-up and the bind-off is my own "unvention". I have PGR's Simple Socks, and she provides a "graft off" for 2 x 2 ribbing. I only had one purl between my two knits, so I just decided to see what would happen if I ignored the instructions for the second purl stitch. Turns out you get a pretty picot edge with minimal flare.
Update: I finished the first sock last weekend. Now the second sock just needs its ends woven in and done! (except for wash, block, pack, ship)

what a beautiful colour!

Those are lovely! And such a cool bind-off. I'll have to check that PGR method out.

Great bind-off ... and the rest of the sock looks good, too! Your sock pal will love them.

They are absolutely beautiful. I love.love.love them, and I'm wearing them today. I am super impressed with your persistence with these socks. Talk about soup to nuts -- you dyed the yarn, chose a lacey pattern, worked to a nearly knee-high length and did short row heels and toes. Wow. That's a lot of work, and I appreciate it a great deal. Also ... I love the sage and embroidered bag in your gallery. Thanks again!
